1. Data controller

The controller of your personal data is STAR-INVEST WIESŁAW PRĘDKI SPÓŁKA KOMANDYTOWA, ul. Sowia 62, 70-792 Szczecin, Poland, tax ID (NIP) 9552584676, KRS 0001138684, which runs the Star Camp holiday cottages, ul. Leonida Teligi 16, 72-350 Pogorzelica.

2. What data we collect and why

When you book through the form on our website, we process your name, phone number, email address, the chosen cottage and dates, the number of adults and children, whether you need an extra bed, and your comments. When you email or call us, we process the details you give us.

We use them only to handle your booking or reply to your enquiry: to confirm the dates, settle the deposit, provide your stay and contact you about it. We do not send newsletters or advertising and we do not share your data for marketing purposes.

3. Legal basis

Handling your booking and replying to your enquiry are steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and providing your stay is the performance of that contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

If you stay with us, we also keep some data to meet legal obligations, such as tax and accounting rules (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR), and – in the event of a dispute – to establish, pursue or defend legal claims, which is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. How long we keep your data

Booking data is kept in the booking system's database until your stay has been settled, and then for the period required by tax and accounting law and until any possible claims become time-barred.

Data from bookings that did not go ahead (for example, where no deposit was paid or the booking was cancelled) and from correspondence that did not lead to a booking is deleted no later than 12 months after the last contact.

5. Who has access to your data

The website and the booking system's database are hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., which processes data on our behalf as a data processor. Data may also be passed to the email provider we use to send confirmations and – if you stay with us – to our accounting office and bank. They process it only as far as needed to provide those services.

Cloudflare may also process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the USA. This is done with the safeguards required by the GDPR – under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

We do not sell your data and we do not use automated profiling.

6. Booking portals

Star Camp is also listed on the nocowanie.pl portal. To avoid double bookings, we exchange only information about booked dates with it – without any guest personal data. Bookings made directly on the portal are processed under its own privacy policy.

7. Cookies and third-party services

Our website does not use analytics or advertising cookies and does not track visitors. We only use mechanisms that are technically necessary for the website and the booking form to work.

The Google Maps map on the Contact page is loaded from Google's servers. When it is displayed, your browser connects to Google's servers and sends, among other things, your IP address; Google may also set its own cookies. Details are given in Google's privacy policy.

You can delete or block cookies at any time in your browser settings.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict its processing and to data portability, as well as the right to object to processing based on our legitimate interest. To exercise these rights, please email biuro@antares2.pl.

If you believe we are processing your data unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes UODO, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw), or with the supervisory authority in your country of residence.

9. Do you have to provide your data?

Providing your data is voluntary, but without contact details we cannot reply to your enquiry, and without the details needed for a booking we cannot accept your stay.
